frequently asked questions

How do I get to the Summit and check in to the event?

Arrival

The Hetzner Summit will take place in our data center park. The address for it is:
Am Datacenter-Park 1, 08223 Falkenstein/Vogtland, Germany.
Unfortunately, our data center park is not easy to reach using public transportation. Therefore, we recommend that you drive to the event with a car. There will be plenty of free parking right next to the data center park. And there will be signs showing you where to park. Just follow the signs.

Check-in

The event check-in will be located at the main gate of our data center park. Please bring a valid photo ID with you so we can confirm your identity. You do not need to bring a copy of your registration.
You can’t transfer your registration to someone else. If you cannot come, please just let us know and use the link from your registration mail for de-registration.

Hotel recommendations

If you need a hotel, we recommend the Parkhotel Plauen (18 km), the Hotel Tannenhaus Schöneck (20 km), and the Haus am Ahorn Kottenheide (23 km).

If you can’t come to the event, please use the link from your registration mail to de-register from it. By doing that, you can help us plan better and someone else can attend the event.

No, there is no registration deadline. But we recommend that you register early because the number of people who can attend is limited.

Yes, the event is accessible for people with special needs. That is true for the spaces open to the Summit guests throughout the data center, including bathrooms.

Yes, there will be food and drinks. We will have stations for drinks at several places in the Summit event space, and we will set up a food court at our data center as well. There will be warm and cold food and vegetarian options.

Price: None!

It’s free for registered guests! However, guests will not be allowed to bring any food or drink with them on the data center tour.

In general, the event language is German, i.e. our presenters will speak German during the keynote and sessions. However, we will provide English subtitles on the LED screen during the entire program.

We offer our data center tours in both German and English.

Check-in is also possible in English and all signage at the Summit will be in English.

We recommend that you check the website for updates, and we will also provide some information about session topics on our social media channels. You don’t need to sign up separately for the sessions. Hetzner crew members will give talks at the event as well as some Hetzner business partners and well-known content creators.

When you arrive at the Summit, you can sign up for a time for a data center tour. There will be different times you can choose from. The data center tours will take place in both German and English.

No, to improve security, we do not allow visitors to take photographs or to make videos on site at our data center parks. After the event, we will post highlights on our social medial channels so that you can download them or share them with others.
