HETZNER RECEIVES TWO RENOWNED SERVICE PROVIDER AWARDS

At the award ceremony for this year’s Service Provider Awards from Vogel IT Medien, German hoster and data center operator Hetzner made a big impression. The company took home coveted awards in two categories as part of the Service Provider Summit in Bonn yesterday evening, and reaffirmed its position as a leader in the industry.
Hetzner won the coveted prize in the “Cloud Server” category for the fifth time in a row and was awarded “Silver” in the “Data Center / Colocation XXL” category.
The annual Service Provider Awards highlight the best of the best in the cloud and IT companies in 13 different categories, such as application hosting, data centers/colocation, and managed service provider. More than 16,000 readers took part in the survey.
Christian Fitz, Hetzner’s spokesperson, accepted the award on behalf of the comany and thanked all of the readers, customers, and IT experts who had voted for Hetzner. He also emphasized the hard work of the Hetzner crew and how they give their all every day to provide innovative products and features, and to build and maintain Hetzner’s reliable IT infrastructure.
Hetzner operates over 30 data centers in Nuremberg and Falkenstein/Vogtland in Germany; in Helsinki, Finland; and in two locations in the USA (Ashburn, Virginia and Hillsboro, Oregon).
