CREATE A GAME IN 48 HOURS: HETZNER INVITES TO GAME JAM
-
Gunzenhausen/Germany – 6. October 2023
From 27 - 29 October 2023, up to 60 game enthusiasts will get together at Hetzner Online, the hosting and cloud provider, to create computer games in 48 hours that are based on a specific theme. Tech savvy people who enjoy gaming are all invited to join in on the fun at Hetzner’s headquarters in Gunzenhausen.
On Friday, 27 October 2023, Hetzner will open the doors to its offices at Industriestraße 25 in Gunzenhausen at 4 PM for the beginning of the Hetzner Game Jam, the second one to take place. The first one was in October 2019. Gamer lovers with all levels of experience will spend the weekend in teams developing video games. Each game will be based on a theme that Hetzner will tell the teams only once the Game Jam has officially started. At the end of the event, the teams will present their games to each other. And in the spirit of creating something just for the joy of it, there will be no winner, because everyone who has fun has won.
“The whole point of this event is to have fun”, said Hetzner Spokesperson Christian Fitz. “Participants can just relax and focus on being creative, sharing ideas with teammates, and getting to know new people. And Hetzner will provide food and drinks,” he added.
Hetzner is also holding the Game Jam at the same time in Munich. Registrations are open now, and it is 100% free. There’s more details at https://gamejam.hetzner.com/.
