    Gunzenhausen – 1. November 2013

German web hosting provider Hetzner Online has devised a particularly innovative online Advent calendar quiz for customers and friends of the company this year.

For several years now, from 1 to 24 December, the company has been offering an interactive online Advent calendar, specially developed in-house, and giving away top prizes each day.

Instead of a conventional written prize question format, this year's competition is organized along the lines of the popular 1980s/1990s German TV quiz “Dingsda“ (similar to the British TV game show “Child's Play“) with children of company employees describing terms for participants to guess.

Each day a new door to a video clip opens in the online Advent calendar. The promotional aspect fades into the background. “With this campaign, we wish to thank all of our clients for the confidence they have placed in us, attract prospective customers and simply put a smile on participants' faces,“ said Head of Marketing, Christian Fitz.

Taking part is easy. Simply click on the window of the day, complete the registration, guess the term and fingers crossed! Prizes to be won include a 3D printer, smartphone and home cinema sound system.
