    Schüler programmieren mit "Python".

    Gunzenhausen – 1. November 2014

Young technology enthusiasts were invited by the Gunzenhausen based webhosting company Hetzner Online to take part in a free programming workshop. The aim of the workshop was to acquaint school children with the basics of the “Python“ programming language. The event was fully booked in no time.

Twelve pupils between the ages of 14 and 17 from the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen and Eichstätt areas took part in a two-day seminar during the autumn vacation, where they gleaned an insight into the world of coding from course leader Florian Snow. Working in teams, pupils practised coding with PC Robot “Guido van Robot“ and programmed a simple computer game during the course of the workshop.

As this was a first, the company was very excited about feedback from the workshop. Due to the very positive response and requests for a continuation course, Hetzner Online is now planning to organise courses on similar and other topics on a regular basis in future.
