    Gunzenhausen/Frankfurt – 24. May 2017

Last Friday, the prestigious Reader's Choice Hosting Awards were presented for the second year at the Hosting & Service Provider Summit at Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt am Main. What distinguishes these awards from others is that the winners are not selected by a set of judges. Rather readers from nine IT portals belonging to Vogel IT-Medien and the online portal webhostlist.de chose the winners in an online survey. The Awards include prizes for 10 different categories, such as web hosting, application hosting, and exchange hosting.

Günther Müller, Hetzner Online's COO, and Christian Fitz, Head of Marketing, accepted the first place award, the "Platinum" award, in the "VPS/vServer" category. Hetzner Online had also made its mark in the previous year's HSP Summit for the "Dedicated Server" category and also received the "Platinum" award. "We are immensely pleased to have won one of these coveted first place prizes from the HSP Summit for the second year in a row. We view this as a symbol of the trust that our customers have placed in us and the value that they see in our products. Winning awards like this helps motivate us to continue doing what we do best and to keep developing innovative new products," stated Christian Fitz.
